Northern Province Inter-Religious Conference in Mannar

The Northern Province Inter-Religious Conference will be held on the 10th of April from 9.00am to 2.00 pm at Gnanodaya Hall, Mannar under the project “Enabling Humanitarian solutions through Multi religious Cooperation and Cohesive Community Response in Sri Lanka” of the National Peace Council.
50 religious leaders and 50 community leaders representing the District Inter-Religious Councils of Jaffna, Mannar, Vavuniya and Puttalam are scheduled to participate in this event.
It is expected to incorporate suggestions that include the human needs of women and children who were affected by 30 year war and possible solutions identified through different activities taken by Inter-Religious Councils and hand them over to the Northern Province MPs, Provincial Council, Local Administration members as well as religious leaders of the same province
