Southern Province Inter-Religious Conference in Galle (April 28)

The Southern Province Inter-Religious Conference will be held on the 28^th of April from 9.00am to 2.00pm at Hasara Hotel, Galle under the project “Enabling Humanitarian solutions through Multi religious Cooperation and Cohesive Community Response in Sri Lanka” of the National Peace Council,

50 religious leaders and 50 Community leaders representing inter religious councils of Galle, Matara, Kurunegala and Anuradhapura districts are due to participate on this occasion.

They will deliberate on the "Proposals on developing the living standards of children and women within a post war atmosphere" and hand it over to the parliament, provincial council and provincial administration ministers of the Southern province as well as to the religious leaders of the Southern province.
